Everyone gets down every now and again. Maybe your dog ran away or your boyfriend or girlfriend broke up with you. You can see a therapist, who also will try to talk you through your feelings but has less training on more advanced techniques. You can see a psychiatrist, who can prescribe medicine for treatment of clinical depression; or you can go to your general practitioner who also can prescribe medicine but doesn’t have the formal training in psychology. With all of these options, there’s no excuse for you suffering through depression that lasts longer than a few days. Seek help and you can get your life back before you know it.
